The world No.10 David Ferrer has confirmed that he will play at the 2015 Rio Open tournament, starting from 16 to 22 February.
The Spaniard joins “The King of Clay” Rafael Nadal at the second edition of the ATP 500 Brazilian tournament.

Ferrer, 32, who beat Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci in the quarter-finals at the 2014 Rio Open – has reached a career high ATP ranking of No. 3 last year.
“I am delighted to return to the Rio Open next year,” said Ferrer.
“This tournament is extremely well organised, Rio de Janeiro is beautiful and the atmosphere created by the public makes the Rio Open one of the most remarkable tournaments of the year to me.”
