The La Liga giants Valencia have completed the signing of highly-rated defender Aymen Abdennour from Ligue 1 side Monaco.
The Tunisian centre-back, who joined Monaco from Toulouse in 2014, had been linked with a move away to Premier League clubs with likes of Newcastle United and Aston Villa, but the Spanish club have secured the signature of the 26-year-old centre-back.

Abdennour penned a five-year contract with Los Che.
He will be seen as the ideal replacement for Nicolas Otamendi, who left the club for Premier League giants Manchester City earlier this month.
Abdennour, who has made 26 appearances for Monaco last season – will wear the No. 23 shirt at Mestalla Stadium.
