Arsenal have confirmed midfielder Jack Wilshere has been ruled out for around three months, after undergoing ankle surgery on Thursday.
The 22-year-old England international hurt his ankle during the 2-1 defeat by Manchester United on Saturday.
The midfielder had been in stunning form for the Gunners and for his country recently, so the news of his latest injury setback from first-team football will come as a huge blow to the north London club and fans both.
Arsenal fans have been left frustrated with the news of Wilshere’s latest injury complaint and took to Twitter to share their feelings.
Oof. Wilshere out for three months. His ankles are made of glass.
