Liverpool centre-back Joe Gomez has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old defender is likely to leave the Merseyside outfit during this summer’s transfer window in search of regular action, having made 14 appearances for the Reds in all competitions during the 2021-22 campaign, with five of those come in the Premier League, where he has played just 102 minutes.
According to 90min, the England international is keen to leave Anfield this summer in order to put himself in contention for a spot in the national squad for the 2022 World Cup.
The report adds that Spurs are interested in the centre-back, while Leicester City, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also said to be in the race.
The Englishman has made 135 appearances for the Reds since arriving from Charlton Athletic in 2015.
