AS Roma captain Francesco Totti has committed his 25th and the final season for the Italians after putting a pen to a paper on a new one-year deal.
The striker, who is currently 39-year-old, was heavily linked with a move to Premier League champions Leicester City in early March, but has opted to finish his career at Italy capital.

“I really wanted this contract, it represents the realisation of my dream,” the skipper told the club’s official website. “I always wanted to end my career having only worn one shirt – the Roma one.
“After speaking with the president, I am even more convinced that, working together, we can achieve great things.”
Totti made his first-team debut in 1992, since then, the forward has scored 304 goals in 758 appearances for the Giallorossi, both of which are club records.
