Raheem Sterling on Juventus radar?

Juventus are reportedly considering a surprise move for Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling, despite his struggles on loan at Arsenal this season. According to Fichajes, the Italian giants see the 30-year-old as a potential attacking reinforcement for the upcoming campaign.

Sterling’s Decline at Chelsea

Once a Premier League star at Manchester City, Sterling’s move to Chelsea in 2022 hasn’t gone as planned. After failing to cement his place under multiple managers, he was loaned to Arsenal last summer but has struggled for game time under Mikel Arteta. With less than 1,000 minutes in 23 appearances, the England international is set to return to Stamford Bridge—but Chelsea are keen to offload him permanently.

Why Juventus Want Sterling

Despite his dip in form, Juventus believe Sterling still has plenty to offer. The Bianconeri want to add experience, pace, and direct attacking threat to their frontline, and they see the former Liverpool and City star as an ideal fit.

With Sterling turning 30, Juventus see an opportunity to sign him at a cut-price fee, as Chelsea are eager to clear his wages off their books. His ability to beat defenders, stretch defences, and contribute in the final third could make him a valuable addition to the Serie A side.

A Fresh Start in Italy?

While Sterling’s Premier League career appears to be winding down, a move to Juventus could reignite his form. With Chelsea keen to part ways, it remains to be seen whether the Old Lady will push forward with a formal bid this summer.
