Darmian’s agent Fausto Pari has stated that unnamed clubs attempted to sign the 26-year-old during the summer. now the possibility of a move away could be on the cards in January.
“We need to understand the situation with the directors at Old Trafford,” Pari told Radio CRC. “Many clubs have shown interest in him but Manchester United closed the door in their faces.
“There has been little chance of playing under Jose Mourinho and if we get to January and the situation hasn’t changed, we will look to go elsewhere. The boy understands that he needs regular first-team football to enhance his chances with the international squad.”
