Manchester United are mulling over a summer move for West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop, according to Sky Sports.
The Red Devils are keen on a deal to bring the 22-year-old Frenchman to Old Trafford this summer as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his options ahead of next season.
The report adds that United are willing to pay £45m to sign the youngster this summer. However, it is suggested in the same report, the Hammers would not listen to offers of less than £60m.
Signing a new central defender is United’s top priority in the current transfer window.
Manchester United have apparently been told by Napoli that Kalidou Koulibaly would cost nearly £100m and that Leicester City value Harry Maguire at about £80m.
