Manchester City are reportedly set to pip the likes of Barcelona and Arsenal to the signing of Ghanaian starlet Henry Oware.
According to the Daily Mail, City are set to sign the 18-year-old centre-back for €1m (£840,000), subject to international clearance, before loaning him out to sister club Troyes in Ligue 1 ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The report goes on to claim that City Football Group have been scouting teenager for two years and are now expected to beat the Blaugrana, the Gunners, Lille and Red Bull Salzburg to recruit the center-back.
Oware has made a total of eight league appearances for the Ghanaian top-flight outfit West Africa Football Academy this season.
Manchester City are also set to announce the signing of Brazilian teenager Savio from Atletico Mineiro.
