Liverpool FC have announced the confirmation of a two-year loan deal that sends Loris Karius to the Turkish giants Besiktas.
The Germany international has completed a switch to Besiktas and will remain at the Turkish club through the end of the 2019-20 season.
He found himself under heavy criticism this summer following his poor displays in the Champions League final against Real Madrid as well as some rookie mistakes in pre-season.
With Alisson Becker’s arrival from Roma, Karius’s future at Anfield appeared to be uncertain and, in a couple of weeks ago, rumours of a move to the Super Big champions began to circulate.
Karius has made 49 appearances for Liverpool since joining the club from Mainz in 2016.
