Everton have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free contract at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old confirmed last week that he will be leaving the Emirates Stadium when his contract expires next summer, as the Gunners pulled out of negotiations over fresh terms.
The Wales international appears to have a choice of clubs both in England and Europe, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United among the English sides to have been linked, while the Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are also rumoured to be in the running to land the midfielder’s signature.
According to The Sun, the Toffees also fancy their chances of signing Ramsey as the Merseyside outfit are prepared to offer him a £15m signing-on fee, as well £150,000-a-week.
