Chelsea reportedly remain undeterred in their efforts to sign Napoli attacker Dries Mertens.
The 32-year-old forward will see his contract at the San Paolo Stadium expire at the end of June.
The Blues were linked with Mertens during the latter stages of January but were unable to get a deal over the line.
The Belgium international will be a free agent on June 30, though, and according to Il Mattino, Chelsea are still weighing up a move.
The attacker has contributed 12 goals and six assists in 29 appearances for Partenopei during this term.
As it stands, Frank Lampard’s side will lose both Pedro and Willian on free transfers ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
