Chelsea’s transfer spree shows no signs of slowing down, as they set their sights on Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic following the recent acquisition of Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
With a €37 million deal for Jackson already in the bag, the Blues are now eager to secure the services of another formidable forward, with Vlahovic emerging as their top target, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.
While the Serbian has struggled to find his rhythm at Juventus, netting just 23 goals in the past 18 months, Chelsea remains undeterred and views him as a potential gem in the Premier League.
Vlahovic’s current club, Juventus, acquired him from Fiorentina for a hefty fee of €80 million last year, which means the Italian giants are likely to demand a similar sum for his departure.
While other clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have shown interest, their focus seems to lie elsewhere at the moment. PSG are weighing a big-money move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, while Bayern are keen on securing the services of Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Chelsea, however, appears determined to pursue Vlahovic and provide him with a fresh start in England, bolstering their already star-studded attacking lineup.
