Chelsea have agreed to sell David Luiz to the French champions Paris St-Germain in £40m deal, the Premier League club confirmed the deal on their official website.
The Brazil international, who joined Chelsea in 2011 from Benfica for about £21.3m and helped the Blues to win the Champions League in the following year.
“The move is now subject to David Luiz agreeing personal terms with PSG and passing a medical,” a statement published on www.chelseafc.com.
The 27-year-old defender has made 143 appearances and scored 12 goals for the west London side in all competitions.
Luiz confirmed on Twitter about his move to France.

Luiz will become the most expensive defender in the history of football ever, who would join his fellow centre-back Thiago Silva in Paris.
