Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the midfielder Francis Coquelin has agreed a new long-term contract with the Gunners.
The 23-year-old Frenchman, who has been in impressive form since returning to the Emirates in December after his short loan spell with Championship side Charlton Athletic.
Coquelin made his first team debut for the north Londoners in a 6–0 win over Sheffield United and has made eight Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season.

Wenger is delighted to have secured the services of Coquelin for a longer period, who will remain at the club until 2019.
“I’m very happy with the business that we have done in January transfer window.We met our targets and subsequently extended the contract extension of Akpom and Coquelin,” Wenger said in a Press Conference.
