Arsenal have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford.
The 24-year-old midfielder is believed to be considering his future at Old Trafford, having struggled for his form during the ongoing campaign.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are now keeping close tabs on the England international, with Mikel Arteta’s side keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium ahead of the new campaign.
The report goes on to claim that Arsenal have identified Rashford as a possible replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who is likely to leave north London on a free transfer this summer.
Rashford has contributed five goals and two assists in 26 appearances for the Red Devils this season, including four goals and two assists in 19 top flight appearances.
The Englishman has a deal at Old Trafford until June 2023, although the 20-time English champions have the option of activating a 12-month extension in his contract.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in acquiring the services of Rashford in the upcoming market.
