Arsenal are reportedly ready to lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur over the signature of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
According to Italian outlet Repubblica, the Gunners have made an approach to sign the 27-year-old at the turn of the year in order to strengthen their midfield.
The Frenchman was a key figure in France’s run to the World Cup final, starting five games, including the final.
Given his current situation in Italy, the Bianconeri may be willing to part ways with the midfielder next month to avoid losing him for free in the summer, with both London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are interested.
Rabiot has a wealth of experience, having represented Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, as well as 35 caps for the country.
The midfielder has been impressive this season, contributing five goals and two assists in 16 appearances.
