Arsenal are pondering a summer move for Lille striker Salomon Kalou, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.
The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen to sign a top-class forward, as they look to bolster their squad for next season and the 28-year-old seems to be the ideal option at Emirates Stadium, who is expected to leave the French club Lille in summer, despite having two years left on his current contract.
Former Chelsea striker Kalou spent over six years with the Blues, featured in Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup success.
However, Kalou wants to return to the Premier League and he could be available as little as for £2million this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have previously shown an interest in the Ivorian international but it is pretty clear that the Gunners are likely to make an offer for Kalou to acquire his services for the Champions League football next season.
