The Baltimore Ravens have secured the services of free agent linebacker Jason Babin on a one-year deal, as per Baltimore Sun.
The 35-year-old’s arrival provides much-needed pass-rush depth for the AFC North side, who lost their all-time sacks leader – Terrell Suggs, with Achilles injury in Sunday’s season-opening defeat to the Denver Broncos.
Babin has recorded 372 tackles, 64.5 sacks and two Pro Bowl selections with 14 forced fumbles during his 11-year NFL career.
The veteran pass-rusher, who is originally drafted by the Texans in the 2004 NFL Draft, has previously played for the Seahawks, Chiefs, Eagles, Titans and Jaguars.
