The Nationals have announced on Tuesday the signing of right-hander Clay Hensley to a minor-league deal along with an invitation to major league camp.
The 34-year-old pitcher played for the San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, and San Francisco Giants in his MLB career over 271 major league games with 517 innings.
He made his last pitched with the San Francisco Giants and he rewarded with a world series champion ring in 2012.
Hensley, best known for surrendering home run to Barry Bonds record – 755th in 2007.
