Matt Kuchar has withdrawn from the PGA Championship due to back pain.
The 36-year-old American pulled out of the tournament after suffering back spasms on the range on Thursday, tournament officials announced.

The World No.6, who has already secured his place on the Ryder Cup, was replaced by 1st alternate John Huh, who is ranked 111th in the world.
Kuchar, a seven-time PGA Tour winner – the best finish in the PGA tournament was a tie for 10th in 2010.
The Ryder Cup at Gleneagles begins next month on Sept. 27.
