Henrik Stenson has been rewarded with the 2013 European Tour Golfer of the Year, he became the first Swedish golfer to win this award.
The 37-year-old has been in excellent form this season as he became the first to win both the Race to Dubai title and the FedEx Cup in the same season.
Stenson said, “It’s a big honour to be voted The European Tour Golfer of the Year.”
Now, Stenson has set his sight on a major championship victory in 2014 following with his incredible season in 2013. Stenson is ranked third in the world behind American Tiger Woods and Australian Adam Scott.
