The 52-year-old Australian – Trevor Bayliss has reportedly been offered the role of England new head coach, according to Sky Sports.
However, there has been no official announcement as yet from the England and Wales Cricket Board, but it is thought the governing body is in talks with the contender for the role of England coach and there may be announcement within the next 24 hours.

Bayliss has got a wealth of coaching experience – after leading the Sri Lanka to the World Cup final in 2011, a successful coaching stint with New South Wales, Sydney Sixers in BBL and Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL
If Bayliss accepts the offer, then his first campaign would be the Ashes series starts on July 8.
