South Africa wicket-keeper batsman AB de Villiers has been ruled out of the Australia tour in November due to having surgery to his elbow.
The 32-year-old skipper was failed a fitness test on Tuesday and will miss the upcoming five match ODI series and the three-Test match series Down Under in November.
The left handed batman Rilee Rossouw will replace De Villiers, which means there’s no opportunity for Temba Bavuma, despite notching a hundred run on his debut on Sunday against Ireland.
