The New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson has joined the English county club Somerset to play this year’s T20 Blast.
The 24-year-old, who is currently on an international duty in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, will arrive at the Taunton following his NZ’s tour of England in June.
Corey has scored 145 runs in 15 Twenty20 internationals with a strike rate of 130.63..!
“I have always wanted to play domestic cricket in England so I am very pleased to have signed to play T20 cricket for Somerset,” the left-hander batsman told the club’s official website.
“I look forward to linking up with Somerset later in the season and continuing the strong link that there has always been between the club and players from New Zealand.”
Somerset to start their summer’s T20 campaign at home against Sussex on May 22.
