Sri Lankan seamer Lasith Malinga has decided to retire from one-day international cricket after the first game of a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh this week.
However, the 35-year-old will continue to play Twenty20 internationals.
The paceman, who already retired from Test cricket in 2010, has claimed 335 wickets in 225 ODIs.
Malinga is Sri Lanka’s third-highest wicket-taker in fifty-over cricket after Muttiah Muralitharan (523) and Chaminda Vaas (399).
