Middlesex have re-signed Australian right-handed batsman Adam Voges for the upcoming season in 2016.
The 36-year-old will be playing for the north London side for two spells this summer, that begin in April and then depart in June, before returning in the mid of August until the end of the season.
The veteran will lead the County Championship side while Dawid Malan and James Franklin will be the limited-overs captaincy in the t20 Blast and One-Day respectively.
“Adam’s return is something we are all delighted with,” Angus Fraser, the director of cricket told the club’s official website.
“He may not have spent a huge amount of time with us but during the time he has been with us he has made an extremely positive impression. Adam continues to show what a high quality player he is and we know what a top bloke he is.”
