Southampton have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, according to The Scottish Sun.
Having starred for the Hoops during his two-and-a-half years in the Scottish outfit, the Frenchman is naturally attracting interest from the English Premier League.
The report claims, Southampton have identified the 23-year-old midfielder as a potential addition as Ralph Hasenhuttl looks to bolster his squad.
The report claims that Ntcham is considered as a possible replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, whose current contract runs out in 2021.
The Scottish champions are likely to demand a nominal fee for Ntcham, who has contributed 21 goals in 116 appearances across all competitions.
