Manchester United are reportedly ready to splash huge to sign Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater back to Old Trafford.
The Sun claims, the 26-year-old is a shock £30m January transfer target for the Red Devils.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho spent £150m summer budget on the superstars with the likes of Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitarayan, while the Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic came in on a free transfer.
But there are still some money left for United to land the England international, who is at Old Trafford on Saturday with Leicester City for the Premier League game.
Drinkwater was at United from the age of nine but never made a first team appearance.
The Portuguese boss believes Drinkwater is the only man to deploy in front of the back four and give the likes of Paul Pogba to push on.
